What is the Ultragreen Move-a-Thon?

From Tuesday April 18, through to Earth Day April 22, save 2kg of CO2 per day by making green mobility choices–riding a bike, taking the train or walking! The WheelCoin app will track this for you, don´t worry! The global goal is to save 10,000kg of carbon emissions during the Move-a-Thon from each of you choosing trains, bikes, buses, walking and even ferries (all detected by the app) instead of cars and planes.

How can I participate?

It´s really easy.

1. Just download the WheelCoin app between now and April 18th and you will be officially part of the Celo Ultragreen Move-a-Thon. Current WheelCoin users are already automatically supporting our 10,000kg goal.
2. Signup your user account and the app will do the rest. It tracks which mode of mobility you are using and automatically calculates the emissions you are saving from greener choices.
3. You will also receive $WHL which is the reward token that allows you to get discounts on green mobility services or acquire digital collectibles that celebrate trains stations in 10 countries around the globe. 
4. Check the website for updates on our progress as a global community and help contribute to the collective goal!

WheelCoin Green Mobility Credits for the Move-a-Thon

While the Move-a-Thon is about making it fun and rewarding for all of us to do our part to move greener and reduce our emissions, the reality is that our daily lifestyles often do involve some emissions from our mobility choices.

For the period from April 18th to April 22nd, Celo and Iomob commit to buying enough $WHL to offset the mobility emissions generated by the community during this period. That anonymized results of emissions saved and created from our collective efforts will be reported on https://wheelco.in and the proof of purchase of $WHL to offset the emissions will be presented as soon as $WHL is available in Uniswap.
